Our history
1993
Rajesh got inspired to sell leisure travel when a lot of his friends faced problems in booking their family trips. This kickstarted the journey to start a leisure-focused boutique travel agency (Tolu Tours Pvt Ltd) in a small city Amravati, Maharashtra, India.
1997
After seeing good success for four years, Rajesh expanded his business to the Orange city 'Nagpur', expecting to 10x the business in the upcoming century.
2006
They expanded their focus on airline ticketing and became a IATA-accredited travel agency. Also, Nirmala joined as a partner to head domestic inbound operations.
2016
Nikunj (son of Rajesh and Nirmala), came onboard to build an online brand and launched Airhob, starting with a consumer-facing online travel booking website that utilizes our real-time omnichannel content and negotiated volume fares.
2017
We launched the Airhob API for Flights and Hotels, giving access to 400+ airlines and 400k hotels via our supplier partnerships.
2022
We unbundled the Airhob API for travel sellers to use their own IATA and direct airline partnerships instead of ours, making the platform fully open and democratized.
