An API is a bridge/medium/middleman between two products or technologies to interact with each other.
1. Signup with Facebook button - Ever saw the 'Signup with Facebook' button while signing up on various websites or apps? Facebook gives an API to all those websites for their users to get basic data like full name, email, facebook ID, etc so that you don't need to enter it again, thereby saving you time.
2. Uber - Ever saw those beautiful maps on apps like Uber or Lyft? Those maps are API's given by Google or Mapbox so that they don't need to build their own maps.

We see two main benefits:
1. A lot of companies want to enable travel bookings in their products quickly, but don't have time to integrate and contract with hundreds of airlines. Using our Single API, developers get access to best inventory and prices because we have partnerships and negotiated fares with the right travel suppliers.
2. Some Travel companies might want to integrate with multiple suppliers like the GDS, NDC, LCCs, Aggregators but again don't have time to integrate with each separately. We allow such companies to retain their airline contracts in a way that bookings can happen using their own IATA.
The time required to integrate the API solely depends on the capability of your team. However, with a 2 developer team, we’ve seen companies integrating our each product API in as low as 20 days to as high as 3 months.
Please note we have two environments - Sandbox and Production. Sandbox environment allows your team to integrate the API's and make test bookings. Production API gives you real-time data from the suppliers.
Once you signup, you get access to a dashboard where you can generate your API keys.
Using the API Documentation, you can start integrating the API in the sandbox environment. Our technical support team is available on firstname.lastname@example.org whenever you face any issues. The team tries its best to respond to your queries as soon as possible.
After you’ve integrated the API and have successfully made a few bookings in the sandbox environment as per the Go Live steps, our team verifies the bookings you’ve done and then extends your access to the production environment.
To keep the API requests to our server secure and avoid unwanted calls, you need to add your IP (prefereably a static IP) and our API will only accept requests from those IP's. Please note that you can add only 2 IP's.
Each product API are set by default to 30 calls/second, and 1000 calls/day during development in the sandbox environment. Once approved for production, the daily calls limit is increased to 10,000.

All our API's are REST API’s with JSON content, so you're free to use the programming language of your choice.
Yup! There's a small recurring fee of $50 per month for each product (Flights, Hotels, and Activities) while you're integrating in the sandbox environment. Once you move to the production environment, the recurring fee is charged only if you don't make any bookings in a given month.
Please note that these charges are applicable for all products API's, except the Global Trains and Rail Passes. It has a separate cost to it, and if you're interested, please shoot an email to us at email@example.com
Once you signup, visit 'Manage subscription' to start your monthly subscription. Our team will activate your sandbox environment within 1 business day, post which you can start the integration.

All your bookings happen through the Airhob Wallet. You need to fund the wallet via bank transfer or your card.
The amount of bookings you can make via the API is the amount of funds you have in your Airhob Wallet. When any booking happens, the total amount gets deducted from the wallet. As and when you see your Airhob Wallet balance falling down, you can fund it. There's no limit as to what amount you can add to your wallet. You can anticipate a small amount if you're starting up and add it. Later as you foresee the demand, you can increase the amount and fund it accordingly.
Yup! Our API lets you book the products and the wallet is only for transactions between Airhob and your company. You need to integrate a payment gateway of your choice to collect payments from your users.

Yup we do! We can provide Flight 'Search Widgets' that you can add to your website with just 2 lines of code. The Search Widget on your website will redirect your user to the Airhob (co-branded with your product) page, and you can earn commissions when the referring user successfully books a ticket.

Absolutely! We support 30+ currencies in all our product API’s, so that you don't need to worry about managing various currencies. We support currencies like USD, EUR, GBP, INR, SGD, AUD, NZD, CAD, JPY, CNY, ZAR, HKD, THB, KRW, IDR, LKR, AED, BHD, SAR, KWD, RUB, OMR, QAR, CHF, PHP, MXN, ARS, BRL and more.
